To sort is the one place for waiting work, force pushes stay inside your day, and more

To sort is the one place for work that's waiting

Waiting work used to show up in three places: a dashboard card counted across every organisation you belong to, warnings on the Git connection page, and the To sort page. Now each organisation's To sort page shows everything waiting there, and its badge in the sidebar counts it all.

  • Rejected deliveries have their own section on To sort, with a link to the delivery history.
  • A failed delivery is shown only to the person whose webhook URL received it, whatever their role. One that couldn't be verified proves no organisation, so it appears in each of that person's organisations, marked cross-organisation.
  • The delivery history moves under To sort, and its old address redirects there. Resolving an item happens on To sort; the history only dismisses.
  • The dashboard's "waiting to be sorted" card and the Git connection page's warnings are gone, since they counted across organisations and disagreed with To sort.

Mute what you've already looked at

Anyone who can see a repository waiting for a project, or a commit author waiting to be matched, can Mute it. It stays on To sort with a muted mark and stops counting in the badge. A mute is yours alone, in that organisation, and the item leaves To sort once the repository is linked or ignored, or the author matched.

Force pushes stay inside your day

When a force push was collapsed into one summary entry, it was timed from your last time entry, whenever that was. Rebasing and force-pushing after a few days away booked the whole gap as work. A force-push summary is now timed from the later of your last entry and that day's clock-in, the same rule a normal push follows, so it never spans a time you were clocked out. If you're not clocked in on that day, it books 0h. Entries already booked aren't changed; you can fix them on the Time page.

Fixes & improvements

  • An owner or admin invited into an organisation with no projects yet gets the full welcome flow, not the one-screen invitee setup.
  • The setup checklist keeps offering Connect a repository to people who track time by hand, as an optional step. An invitee is asked only while nobody on their team has connected one.
  • Setup checklist steps open the screen where you do them, in the same tab.
  • Clocking in or out from the dashboard opens the Time screen.
  • To sort sits beside Documentation in the sidebar.
