Agent work reviewed before you read it, a session panel in Claude Code, a CLI that upgrades itself, and more

Agent work is reviewed before you read it

start-work carries a task through to an open pull request. A new review-work skill now reviews that pull request before you read it, fixes what it is sure of and leaves the rest for you. See the skills.

  • start-work runs it once the pull request is open, and each task in a goal run does too. Codex CLI, OpenCode and Cursor get it as clocktopus-review-work.
  • A subagent reviews the branch's own changes against the task and your repository's agent instructions, through your agent's own code-review skill when it has one.
  • The session checks each finding against the code and fixes only small ones it is highly confident in, inside the task. It re-runs the checks and pushes a new commit, never amending or force-pushing.
  • Everything else, the judgement calls and anything reaching past the task, goes into one comment on the pull request with why it wasn't fixed.
  • It never approves, blocks or merges, and doesn't review other people's pull requests.

See your session's task in Claude Code

Claude Code now shows which task the session counts toward, without leaving the conversation. See the Claude Code session panel.

  • The panel shows the session's task, whether the session is attributed and to which task, and the task's goal.
  • Members see their own session's spend in it.
  • clocktopus agent setup installs it on Claude Code 2.1.310 or later, and leaves it out on older versions.
  • A new MCP tool, get_session_panel, answers the same for any agent.

The CLI upgrades itself

clocktopus upgrade upgrades the CLI with whatever installed it. See Upgrade.

  • Once a newer version is installed, it refreshes what agent setup installed.
  • The session panel shows the CLI's version.

This release ships CLI 0.10.0.

Fixes & improvements

  • Agent sessions in a repository cloned through an SSH host alias from your SSH config, such as git@github-work:…, now count toward the repository's project, and clocktopus init recognises the repository. Sessions already recorded are left as they were.
  • The Time page no longer flags commits that correctly book 0h. A commit made in the same second as one already booked carries no warning, and Out of order and Force push badges are grey instead of amber. A missing reference stays amber, as the one flag that asks you to act. Rows already booked keep their flags.
