Install as an app

Install Clocktopus to your desktop or home screen as a Progressive Web App.

Clocktopus is a Progressive Web App. Installed, it opens in its own window with no address bar and no tabs, gets an icon on your dock, taskbar or home screen, and launches like anything else on the machine. No app store involved.

Your browser doesn't offer a one-click install here. Follow the manual steps below for your platform.

If the button says nothing is available, your browser either has it installed already or does not support installing web apps — the manual routes below still work.

Desktop

Chrome, Edge and Brave. Look for the install icon (a monitor with a down arrow) at the right of the address bar and click it, then confirm Install. If it is not there:

  • Chrome and Brave: Menu → Cast, save, and share → Install page as app…
  • Edge: Menu → Apps → Install this site as an app

Safari on macOS. File → Add to Dock…, then confirm. Clocktopus opens from Launchpad and the Dock like any other app.

Mobile

iOS and iPadOS (Safari). Tap Share, scroll down, choose Add to Home Screen, confirm the name and tap Add.

Android (Chrome). Menu (three dots) → Add to Home screen or Install app. An install banner may also appear near the bottom of the screen.

Update and uninstall

The installed app always loads the latest version, so there is nothing to update.

To remove it:

  • Chrome / Edge desktop — open the app, click the menu in its window title bar, then Uninstall Clocktopus…
  • macOS — drag it from the Dock or Applications to the Trash.
  • iOS / Android — long-press the icon and choose Remove App / Uninstall.
